Plexus Marketing Group Inc. was founded in 1987 as a specialized direct marketing consultancy for agricultural and other life sciences companies. We later expanded into the Marketing Programs/Services and Market Research areas, and then began serving other B2B market segments.
Michael McClellan is the Founder and President of Plexus Marketing Group Inc., and has over 27 years of B2B marketing management/consulting experience and over 21 years of market research experience. His consulting clients have included major corporations such as BASF, DuPont, Interface Flooring, J.M. Huber Corporation, and others.
Michael has held numerous leadership and board positions in the Business Marketing Association (BMA), including 6 years on the organization's International Board, and in other trade groups such as the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) and the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD).

In 1989, Plexus Marketing Group expanded from direct marketing consulting into marketing/sales support programs and services. Since then, it has conducted a wide range of marketing and sales support programs involving sales lead generation, sales lead qualification, relationship marketing, outsourced sales and customer support departments, and marketing event support campaigns (including seminar attendee recruiting and trade show follow-up).
We serve a number of B2B vertical markets, including Energy, Medical/Healthcare, Agriculture/Life Sciences, and other technology-driven markets. We also have supported a wide variety of corporate clients, such as FMC Corporation, General Electric, John Deere, Monsanto, Siemens, and others. We have worked with a range of marketing agencies and consultants with our demand generation and customer retention/growth services.

Our experienced communicators were particularly effective with data collection applications, including in-depth interviews and "Voice of the Customer" surveys, and this part of business grew alongside our marketing programs/services business. While we specialize in qualitative research work, such as focus group moderation and IDIs, we also offer quantitative research services, data collection, and related services (such as phone recruiting and facilitation to support web surveys).
